Alcoholics Anonymous

I first heard of this organization this year when I was watching one Tamil movie named "Sathum Podathey" in which the villain (who happens to be the ex-husband of the heroine played by the young actor Nitin Satya) forces to quit alcohol. And, unfortunately he realizes the mistake a bit too late in his life when his vigour of youthful manhood has diminished over time.

Alcoholics Anonymous has been trying to help people recover from the harmful effects of consuming alcohol and the consequences it may lead the people who cannot control themselves in due course of time. I liked their catchy phrase which is true to every word in it. It is said that AA consists of people who try "to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety." Its indeed a slow process consuming a twelve-step program for controlling the alcoholism in people, particularly youth of the nation.

But you cannot control the subtle after effects such as impotency, heart and lung disease and kidney stone which is the consequence of indiscriminate drinking. AA Has no control over it, it must be controlled by you and only you can save yourself from all the harmful effects. Just see the plight of the person (portrayed in the movie).
