The booze poet

I had one strange experience today when I was talking to my cousin over the gtalk. He was supposedly thinking that he is an ace poet who could conjure an entire verse out of thin air. Here is what he typed out in the chat window.

So do you think you can tell? blue skies from pain? green feel from pale? Heaven from hell? What causes red smile from peace? And white from piece?
Do you think you can tell.? did they get us to trade, our heros for ghostS, chasing after unvanquished dream, a dream that will always be reel and not real. And afflicted are we, from the truth of the dream. how i wish you were here.
we are two lost souls swimming in the different fish bowl year after year.
running in same old place with same old fear, wish you were here

I found this verse closely resembling many other poetry around, and most importantly I came to find out that it is inspired by the song written and composed by Pink Floyd.

Man, what can alcohol do, when it goes into your brain. You are a poet.
